1. Pacquiao works with PBC/Fox/Haymon now. They likely offered him a bigger guarantee than Arum offered him. Arum is a notorious low baller. We know this. The guy allowed his young rising latino star Teofimo Lopez to go fight in Triller. He’s cheap. Arum doesn’t even like Crawford.

2. Winning against fighters who are not top 10 (Brook, Khan, Benavidez), doesn’t fool all fans. Many fans are fooled, but not all. Spence is the better WW, which is why he is ranked #1.

arum didnt want that fight. why would he pay for a ****** fight? he let some other idiot waste their money paying lopez for it. he didnt try to block the fight and say no you cant fight on another network like pbc does to their fighters.

Considering the rumour that was floating around of “Spence-Danny Garcia did 180-200k but they’ll report 250k” BEFORE the 250k report came out. I take any PBC number with a grain of salt. Not that 250k is even good neither.

Sean Gibbons has been pushing for Pacquiao-Spence. And he’s been telling us Crawford was not next, “no way” etc. So I can buy they see him as easier prey. I view it that way. Doesn’t mean Manny wins though.

Respect to Breadman, totally get what he is saying but I think this matchup was made because it was likely the biggest offer on the table outside of the Pipe Dream in the Middle East in which they THOUGHT they could potentially get $40 Million

Maybe FOX/PBC just gave in and contacted him and asked him his asking price to make this fight and they gave the Legend what he wanted instead of settling or a Spence vs Ugas PPV which lets be honest would not have done all that well

I do find it funny that people will run around and say PBC is Broke, PBC losing Money while Arum himself is basically ADMITTING "No Money" for certain fights yet ironically enough those fans will ignore his admissions and continue to point fingers at others. So I don't think Pacman "Picked" I just think PBC/FOX and everybody involved just STEPPED UP!

Lol either or, both a big ask for Pacquaio at this stage in his career. To me they are the stand out fighters in the division and of course unbeaten champions. There were very strong rumours they looked hard in to a fight v Crawford 1st.

But he didn’t pick Spence because he is weaker than Crawford he picked him cuz it is a well paid fight against one of the elite and an unbeaten, unified world champion.
