    Overtraining

    ive seen this word used lots around here but i dont understand how to much of a good thing is bad????????
    what are some of the negatives?
    what if a fight doesnt want to overtrain so they undertain?

    Trust me you cant over train, its the same as practice, you never can over do it, thats just a excuse

      uh, yes, you can overtrain....especially in boxing.

      if you dont give your muscles time to heal up, they will eventually start losing strength.
      if you put yourself through too much sparring in boxing without letting tender ribs/cuts/bruises heal, theyll be busted up much easier in the actual fight.

      its used as an excuse sometimes when it aint applicable, but it can happen.

        Ridicules statement , train hard continually before your body recuperates and above your personal threshold is over training , your blood analysis will go out the door , your chances of picking up a virus will increase 10 fold , your weight will fluctuate wildly and you will be in semi dehydrated state , headaches with a feeling of flatness with no energy is common when over training .

          I see what your saying buy in camp they should know when to taper down the the hard work to let the body hill and start working out lighter. It common sense
