He made a couple successful defenses of that title and pushed Tanaka to the brink. Point is, Canizales was a proven champ with solid wins at 108 and had looked good doing it. This is a huge upset by Bermudez, who looked like a gatekeeper, a guy who'd lost to Gilberto Parra and Hugo Guarneros. Curious to see where both go from here
