Take Sho Kimura. His claim to fame was exposing Zou Shiming - but Zou Shiming was himself overrated and padded.Comment

He made a couple successful defenses of that title and pushed Tanaka to the brink. Point is, Canizales was a proven champ with solid wins at 108 and had looked good doing it. This is a huge upset by Bermudez, who looked like a gatekeeper, a guy who'd lost to Gilberto Parra and Hugo Guarneros. Curious to see where both go from hereComment

I enjoyed this fight, its one of those encounters that one can appreciate skills and ruggedness. Esteban Bermudez, may have changed his life with this shocking upset (Esteban Bermudez +450 ) , he was working as a taxi driver during the current COVID-19 global pandemic.Comment

Mexicans proving they can win when they have advantages. But look what happens when they don't. They just lose. Hell, they lose a lot when they do have the advantage, just like Americans. They're the only nations to have a mass of them but come up short. No other nation does. The statistics are very interesting.
We have tried it. Why else do you think the UK has the best collective resume in boxing?
Nearly every fight in your history you've had home advantage you idiot. Look at how many losses you have received. Nearly every time there's been a loss on our end, it's been because of circumstances, nothing else. That however hasn't been the case for you over the years. Duh.Last edited by Richie_R; 05-29-2021, 12:27 PM.Comment

All this sounds a like a whole lot of saltiness lmao. Don’t be so bitter bro. Mexicans and Americans rule boxing no matter how you try to cut it. You blame this upset on the loser not having have fought in a while, and I ask why is that Bermudez’s fault? Why is it always the Mexicans faults that they themselves are always prepared while the losers are not? This is a professional sport that takes a lot of hard work and dedication, and if boxers are not adequately prepared then maybe they shouldn’t take the fight and if they do, then they do so at their own risk. You can’t blame the Victor for any of that.
You think being out of the ring for 2 years while the Mexican had been active wasn't an advantage? What are you smoking?
This is happening every time now. Look for yourself, it isn't the other way round. There's a reason it isn't either. I know it's all intentional. The odds are impossible for it all to be coincidence. When ever a fighter is at their best and a threat, they're ducked across the board. I know you want all this taken at face value because it benefits you, but it's all bullshlt. If you reversed this trend, you'd see Mexicans and Americans lose pretty much every fight too. Hell, look at the amount of fights they have with the advantage only to lose. You're the only two nations to suffer losses under these conditions loads of times.Comment

Circumstances. But it will all come to an unsurprising end after the pandemic. So don't get used to it.Comment
