I think Floyds a jackass but this is a legitimate gripe.

The double standards by the media regarding him and Pac have been shameless.

I don't like Mayweather as a person but like him as a fighter. He does have a lot of valid points. Manny is being rated on the performance which he looked spetacular defeating the same two opponents comming from such a light weight. Floyd should be happy that there are a few big money fights out there for him if he beats Marquez. He shouldn't let his ego do the talking but that is Floyd, he always been like that from his first pro fight.

Actually if I recall correctly, Floyd offered to give Marquez 1 million to step aside so they could fight, all Pac had to do was say the word. "crickets"

That's because it isn't true - see here.

Hype and promotion, he didn't mean it. Pacquiao was talking about a fight with Mayweather before the Hatton fight when Floyd made it clear he was coming back and instead of waiting for Pac to destroy Hatton made the fight with Marquez. So Pac made the fight with Cotto instead.

So I presume you only give Floyd credit for the unbeaten fighters he's beaten and not for any of the fighters he's beaten who had lost to others before him. After all, they too must have been "damaged goods".

He's bitter because he's not at the top of the P4P list. But if that bothers him so much he shouldn't have retired. No one who has been out of the game for 2 years can expect to retain their position in the P4P lists. He'll have to get it back in the ring, and he doesn't like that.

Also, Pac was rated P4P #1 before he fought De Lay Hoya, so Floyd's pretence that Pac only got his #1 rating because of the De La Hoya and Hatton wins is ridiculous.

Only if Floyd fights some top Welters. It's got nothing to do with Pac.
