Holyfield would outwork him, bust him up and stop him late.

I made a thread in the classic section like a week or so ago of this exact same matchup.

I had just happened to be watching some 90s holyfield fights and also watched a bit of Fury vs Cunningham and thought about styles and Fury struggled with a smaller guy who can get in close and negate his reach advantage. I think holyfield has the best style to match up against fury, he has an iron chin, great stamina, very versatile on the inside, closes the distance, would negate fury's reach advantage.

I watched a bit of wlad vs fury and wtf, fury just completely shut down wlad. Wlad's face was busted up at the end of the fight. I remembered that as more of a wide decision with wlad hesitant to throw but i forgot how busted up he was at the end of it. Fury looked so fluid and mobile for his size, but wlad and wilder were content to just let Fury do whatever he wants on the outside. You need a guy to get in close on him, and bust up his body wear him down. I think Holyfield stops him late as well.

I think Holyfield's quickness is key. If he can get in and out with combinations and hurt Fury he could win.

Fury would be switched on against a fighter like Holyfield and would cut out the ******ity. Therefore, he'd just box at range and control the action a bit like Lewis did.

Clear UD for Fury. Holyfield wouldn't be able to deal with the reach with a switched on Fury.

I think Holyfield is too small, but he was as tough as anyone. Could see it is a version of Cunningham-Fury, where Fury's size just wears on Holyfield. Could also see Holyfield being quick and tough enough to win a decision or even a stoppage with body shots.
