U keep underestimating the greatest fighter of all time. I give pacquiao a huge chance to shock spence. I’m offended by this article make it sound like Spence is going to end pacquiao life. Pacquiao is the king of the ring

Manny hasn’t beaten anyone elite in 5 years? What planet has this writer been on? Thurman was unbeaten and rated in top three.
who has spence beaten in the elite who was or is an actual welterweight? Showtime Shawn porter I had winning although very arguable.
he was losing against Brook until the damage shots and that’s it, he never gave kell a deserved and rightful rematch seeking something that never happened until now.
he’s very good and also (as shown against porter) will go at it but against the fighting will and power of the Filipino people in that mans fists is a massive step. He should have taken the Crawford fight, manny will leave the sport after this and winning will solidify his achievements just as a boxer, probably the greatest who ever lived. How many have jumped weight, fought generations past, present and future and beaten them? Only him.
FMJ did similar remaining unbeaten but his game was defence and taking away offence and for that he is definitely the greatest yet, not the same.
as a man of god, senator and father, he’s the complete packaged role model.
win or lose the fight, he loses nothing. Infact, he loses nothing by dropping the fight now.

a former strawweight will show the world why he's the one and only 8 division champion, one and only 5 div lineal champion, one and only 4 decade champion by defeating the monster of the welterweight division and current top lb4lb.

It is Ftizsimmons after all, have you seen the crap he wrote during the heyday of Pac/May?

Anywya, Spence barely got going against Mikey, who I thikn gets walloped by Pac, so I think the great one has a solid chance here. I can see Spence being just active enough or Pac looking good on points but getting robbed.

Comparing Spence, probably the most brutal fighter at WW right now, to Thurman is also ******. The fight nothing alike. Spence likes to mix and match but he's a come forward body puncher who knows how to close off the ring. This is a fighter that Manny is going to struggle with for sure.
It's very ******! Just check Pacquiao's resume. When was the last time he fought a Southpaw? I'm just wondering how this fight got made and Arum couldn't get it done? Why for Craword, the fight had to be in Abu Dhabi, but now Manny is fighting Spence in the U.S.?

Thanks for the insight. Pacquiao and his team don't think Spence is special, just taller and bigger, even while he was watching Spence dismantle Mikey, who was there not to fight but to survive 12 rounds. Pacman thought Mikey was so scared to let go. I think Thurman was a bigger challenge, so Spence will have to watch out. Even his trainer knows that. Just shows the old guard were just better than today's best.

I agree that Spence is favoured to beat this version of Pacquiao, but I don't count Manny out. He has a chance, and who says Spence can stop Pacquiao when he couldn't even knock down Mikey and Danny Garcia?

Spence struggled against Porter, who is good but not great, so he has his flaws. Crawford would be a much tougher opponent to figure out than Spence.

Pacquiao is quicker, but it's a matter of how good his defence will be, and not take too many body shots. Since Marquez ko'd him, he has been a bit more careful in just rushing in.

It's a fine fight. Either Pacman shows he has one last great performance, or its a passing of the torch, although Crawford would argue against Spence being the biggest star below middleweight.

Once Spence gets stung by Pac and hurt for the first time everything will change. And he will get hurt.
