Typical Eddie Hearn move, call out the biggest draws, get clout for you’re fighter, then either grab the weakest champion in said division, if not a has been thats now at the end of the road and a sure fire thing.

    “Eddie changed boxing Though”

    “Hearn has saved boxing!”

okay dokey guys. For his own short term gain you mean?

terrible fight. FeatherFisted Guy Vs Broken Feather chin

What's wrong with that? That's a commendable record. If I was boxing, I'd be more than happy with an oppositional record like that.

Ok been more than a year since Haney had shoulder surgery - I think it's been enough time to see if he will get something out of that.

I'm using that Santiago fight as the basis for a starting point because I don't think he looked good in that fight and he got injured....has not really make a big impression since then. Still yet to have a breakout performance. And I doubt many will be willing ot say he could even have a breakout against Linares because we've seen him stopped in different ways before. But I'm gonna give him credit if he can dominate

The offense has been sputtering ; he couldn't get Gamboa's attention that I can remember. He will get another shot against a guy who is chinny and is prone to cuts so it's a good position to finally put things together. It's a good fight because it will be the first opponent who has a good offense - we know Linares' story, the chin can be cracked...but his offense is always top notch. If Haney cannot hurt or cut him, it could be a fight

With Haney it's like...I see the extras that he is bringing with the overall style...but man, I;ve been wanting to see some baseline offense.

The teacher better be in the best shape he’s ever been in or else he won’t last long enough to teach him anything.

Testament to how pathetic his time with young Edward has been....his career has come to a halt. No buzz whatsoever

Go review top opponent oppositional record. His opposition’s record is abysmal and sad. I’ll correct myself and it’s still awful. It shows you the difference in champions and who is hyped and who is not.

Lopez until first title: 257-60- 15 fights in
                  Haney: 214-153- 19 fights in

Haney’s opposition has 2.5x the number of losses and less wins 4 more fights into career. He is hyped.

what’s sad is even Garcia has far better oppositional record. This is why Haney is laughed at even by his peers as an email champ.
