Fury is 30 years old. Pretty young in today’s boxing standard. To give you perspective, Floyd didn’t hit his pinnacle until he was in his 30’s, same with Andre Ward, RJ, PAC, and even Oscar. This means Fury has 5 years, give or take to make a mark for himself. Beating Wilder does not guarantee him enshrinement in Canastota. No one is arguing that.

Unfortunately for Fury, the HW division isn’t exactly stacked with talent so he’ll be an overachiever in a weak era. It’s not his fault. If Fury retires after beating AJ and Wilder, he still doesn’t deserve to be in the hall of fame nor should he be talked about in the same breath as Tyson or Lewis or Ali guys. Again, we know that. We don’t need a basement dwelling, anus licking, ***** loving Neanderthal like you thumping the usual “know it all” mantra when nobody has put Fury on a pedestal in the context of great career run.
Fury maybe a bum but he has beaten Wilder, will beat him again, will beat AJ and most likely beat the next top 8 opponents on the HW landscape. He could be a bum in the company of bums. It’s not his fault if he comes out of that lot as the best.

Now, just a yes or no question YET again, what is your level of education, did you even finish high school?
Can you please persuade Fury to give a rematch to Otto Wallin if he beats Wilder

Thank you, Tris. I agree 100 percent. It’s becoming a joke.

Sure. I take it you believe Fury is ducking him or got a gift decision?
Regardless, Walin can bring himself to top contender by beating other guys up, no?

Fury never spoke about the rematch so i cant say he is ducking and also, as far as the decision is concerned, i never thought Walin won but yes, it could be close. IMO, i think the guys is good for a rematch.

So, let me get this straight, you never thought Walin won but still think a rematch is warranted?
Why should Fury speak about a rematch when he clearly beat Walin?
Based on that logic, Fury should rematch all the guys he beat too, no?

This should have been written when Wilder was still champion and it took him 39 fights to get in the ring with a real threat. Or when he thought he was actually worth 50% versus AJ while only earning 10% of what AJ was earning.

This year is shaping up to be a decent one for boxing; we had Canelo/Saunders, Taylor/Ramirez, and we have Pac/Spence, Fury/Wilder III, Haney/Linares, Davis/Barrios, and Loma coming back. Hopefully a few more good ones to be made.

Good call! They need to get the trilogy going, hopefully second half of 2021.

Haha nice catch. It’s a relatively unknown series here in the U.S.

I just think wilder could've waited til after Fury/Joshua. Sure, fight 3 needs to happen... but I mean wilder could've fought any top 10-15 HW as a tuneup anyway. Looks to me wilder's ego is still way too gargantuan for what he really is in the ring. Oh well... I think we'll still get Fury/Joshua x 2, so all isn't lost.
