Chavez Jr is a funny guy. At this point Chavez Jr would be lucky to get a Jake Paul novelty fight lined up let alone a Canelo sweepstakes part II level fight.

I actually think Jake Paul is a more realistic target. Chavez Jr. obviously wants to weigh in at 200 lbs. anyway and he is basically a sideshow at this point so why not?

If Jake starts going after Mexican folks like he's been going after MMA folks JCC Jr is the best option. I don't see him going that route doe. Too much potential controversy with a racial angle.

Not that I have any kind of confidence in Chavez( never thought he was any good), but if he wants to fight anyone with a name, he needs to beat some regular fighters after Silva. Actually put together a string of victories. Train hard. And recover his fan base in Mexico with some winning. He could probably still make some millions if he just pulled his head out his a$$.
