If going into your opponents backyard and knocking him on his ass twice is barely winning then I'll take it.
Taylor beat Ramirez, end of.
Anyone can be knocked down....even bums knock down decent fighters. It’s about actually stopping your opponent when you hurt him or dominating him right after for the rest of the fight...Taylor failed to do that and in fact he hasn’t really dominated any of the top fighters he’s fought, never mind knocking any of them out.
Depends what you mean by hurt. He was undeniably rocked and could easily have been stopped if Bayless hadn't given him so much additional recovery time. Taylor really should have been told to go back to a neutral corner as well. I like Ramirez's attitude -- you win some, you lose some -- and isn't trying to come up with excuses. Not a sore loser. Some salty chaps here could learn something from him. But he was definitely on ***** street after that second knockdown.

Fair enough. But Taylor has not got much pro-experience and was never given any easy fights, he is very much learning on the job even at 30 years old.
I admit he is not a complete boxer... like Crawford or Canelo. Crawford next for Taylor is a bad match for me as he is far more experienced.
Taylor is riding a wave, makes too many mistakes against world-level fighters to make me think he has a chance against p4p fighters like Crawford... but I only admire him for taking the tough route, even if he doesnt do it convincingly in many peoples view, like yourself.
Amazing how some fans can’t see past their own biases, even after the fight. Some people are actually saying Ramirez deserves the decision?!!! Unbelievable. He did his thing, applied pressure, as expected, but the two KDs weren’t flash. Taylor was splitting his guard with straight lefts and uppercuts at will as he came forward. What fight were y’all watching? Ramirez may have worked hard enough to win some rounds, but not enough to make up for two 10-8 rounds. Without those rounds the judges would have had it a draw. A completely fair decision.
What a great fight for fans of the sweet science. Sorry for the butthurt fanboys. Better luck next time.
“hahahah I was never hurt. no you were knocked out and that rotten corrupt POS ref gave you 45 seconds to recover. bayliss also helped wilder from getting KO'd”
You mean like when Fury got a 15-count in the first Wilder fight?
Yes, so hurt that he had Taylor running the entire rest of the fight. Real masterful that Ramirez outboxed and out hustled him the first 5 rounds and the last 5 rounds. It was a close but clear victory for Ramirez but one has to respect the judges decision.
I love how it goes from close to running in some people’s demented minds, to me Josh coasted the last rounds, Ramirez was scared to rush in fully until the last round, he knew he was waiting for a good counter and didn’t take a chance until the very end.
Nah...it was a close fight. And in reality Ramirez had that eurobum running for dear life the last 4-5 rounds. Ramirez was robbed of a close victory, but it’s all good. We have plenty of Mexican and Mexican American champions and prospects to root for, including the #1 p4p. We’ll let the Euro trash have this one...it isn’t even a blip in the grand scheme of things lol. Either way, Ortiz will wreck Taylor if Taylor ever dares to face him. Unlike Ramirez, Ortiz has that dog in him and will brutalize the euro wimp.
coming from a narco state where most people cant read or write worship a god of death 100's of 1000's of bodies laying around and ten times more they will never find. a country so corrupt the narcos own the govt and the military so I guess you have to get off on some guy in a ring
