It was a good scrap, I think i Ramirez easily won 7 rounds but the knock downs were the deciding factor. Good win for Taylor, I'm sure he's on to Crawford, maybe, while I do believe he would give Crawford some rounds, maybe win a couple here and there, he's not going to beat Crawford, I see Crawford winning an easy decision or even a late K.O. if that fight does not materialize, then a rematch is needed, simply because it was competitive, and if Ramirez learns from his mistakes (mainly protecting yourself at all times) he can win. Regardless of what happens, congratulations to both men for providing an exciting, competitive fight.

Nah...it was a close fight. And in reality Ramirez had that eurobum running for dear life the last 4-5 rounds. Ramirez was robbed of a close victory, but it’s all good. We have plenty of Mexican and Mexican American champions and prospects to root for, including the #1 p4p. We’ll let the Euro trash have this one...it isn’t even a blip in the grand scheme of things lol. Either way, Ortiz will wreck Taylor if Taylor ever dares to face him. Unlike Ramirez, Ortiz has that dog in him and will brutalize the euro wimp.

I think Kenny Bayless did a terrible job calling breaks and working out, Josh Taylor took advantage of his indecisiveness to make a decision and dropped Ramirez. This was one of the worst refereeing performance I have ever seen in the fight game, Kenny Bayless needs to do better he caused Ramirez a chance to win the fight.

Interesting. He was visibly hurt by the second KD (looked like he stryggled to beat the count), and Taylor was in control for the rest of the fight. Unsteady legs and lacking any power for the next 5 rounds.

Are you implying that Josh Taylor threw an illegal punch for the second KD? are you trying to say the referee should have not let them fight out of the clinch and if he did, Ramirez wouldn't have been put on his arse?

Ramirez is a good fighter and fought very well. He had two belts for a reason. 1st knockdown was legit but wasn't much more than a flash. 2nd one was quickly, but legally, after a break. That one rocked him pretty good. Correct, so protect yourself at all times if you can. Could have made a difference in a closely scored fight. Cong**** to Taylor who can take it and duke it out.

Ramirez is a good person and a solid icon for the things he does for his community. I hope he can come back and win a title. But 140 is getting hotter and I'm not sure how he would fair against some serious threats at 140. At the same time, I don't see Taylor making a big splash at 147.
