Olympian shot outside gym!
The Bairoa Gymnasium of Caguas, Puerto Rico (the same gym where WBO Champion Miguel Cotto trains) became the scene of a crime today as former Olympian and recent professional debutant Joseph Serrano was shot in the head, femur and forearm as he stepped out to the parking lot of the gym prior to starting his daily workout. Serrano (1-0, 1 KO) made his professional debut last Saturday on the undercard where childhood friend Miguel Cotto defeated via 5th round TKO Demarcus "Chop Chop" Corley.
