think people over look gatti boxing abittily cause he was known as a slugger, but he was a very good boxer when he box. he was also pretty slick when he box to, slipping punches and catching them. in the ruleas and gomez fight he showed great boxing ability. to answer i think gatti is the better boxer than manny.

Gatti did actually have some decent boxing ability and had admitted that at one stage he was more of a boxer than a slugger. Pacquiao when he chooses to has a good brain and boxing abilty.

But virtually all of the time both fighters are happy slugging it out and looking for the finish, which is why both are so exciting.
