I hope he just stays at 140 for a while because some big fighters will move up to him.

He could move up and get smashed by Crawford or feasibly fight Lopez and Davis at 140.

He's a big boy He says he is comfortable at the weight though so if he is. He shouldn't be looking to cede advantages to someone like Crawford who might be the best in the sport anyway

That world be ideal, but having 4 belts means you get a lot of mandatory fights and most mandatory fights are not great, such as that Thai guy he beat in 1 round. And Catterall next. I think it’s inevitable you to end up vacating belts if you want the best fighters.

Yeah, Cattrall agreed to step aside so these guys could fight

          This.

Its awful for your resume to have all the belts. Its usually an impressive run to win them, but it gets trash real quick once you got them. You are doing mando after mando. Granted you will get some good opposition here & there, but mostly mando's are bs fights to not very compelling fights at best. If boxing made any fooking sense & we still had multiple belts the least they could do for unified or undisputed champions is make the mando's for each belt fight it out amongst each other so you are just fighting the best mando every year or 18mos or w/e it is timewise you gotta fight them these days. Should be some benefit to holding all the belts. Let those mfers cash in on the big fights not have to fight the guy with the management who's paying off the rating guy for an ABC group that no one cares to see you fight.

Just go look at Wlad's resume when he had all those belts for proof. Granted again he did get to fight some good opposition here & there, but mostly he had a bunch of subpar who gives a fook opponents when he had ring around the mandatory fights going on. Respect to Wlad. Not trying to dog his run, he did what he had to do, but I suspect he'd even had rather fought the more compelling guys than the Alex Leapai's & Francesco Pianeta's.

The Crawford fight is NOT happening unless Crawford signs an extension with TR. IF/Once he does, then that fight becomes a possibility.

If Lopez moves up to 140, that's a hell of a fight to make and likewise against Mikey Garcia.

Taylor has plenty of options after he takes care of his mandatory.
Yep, think it's assuredly Catterall next in the UK unless he simply can't make the weigh anymore. I'd bet on him moving up after that, though there could be decent options if he stays at 140, but I think it's unlikely

Whats the next hill to climb for Josh?
Tank won't fight Taylor , be waiting a while for that .
Teo would be a cracking fight . Hes already said he wants to fight bud so hopefully 1 of those 2 .
big step up for him , not sure I fancy his chances with either of those 2 but he's game and he'd go for it

                  Teo? Crawford? Catterall?

I guess he'll take on Catterall 1st and wait for Teo to move up...
