Comments Thread For: Robert Garcia: Ramirez Beating Taylor Would Be My Biggest Win as Trainer

Trainer Robert Garcia has not seen a more-motivated and hungrier version of Jose Ramirez until the lead up to Saturday's clash against Josh Taylor. In other words, if Ramirez fights to his potential, Taylor is in for a long night.

I would say Maidanas win over Broner is bigger. Broner was the next Floyd of the time a big name.

Good fight tonight but both Ramirez and Taylor will get whooped when Teo moves up so neither guy will be a star.

So because according to you Garcia doesn’t sound “confident” that translates to a Taylor win? Lmao

I also think Ramirez is not confident he’s too much of a nice guy and just looks to be happy to be fighting.

guys like Teo and Ryan would clown Taylor left n right.

Robert's own words. He knows what Triple T brings to the party. 'Nuff said.

That broner win has aged poorly. Broner only looked like the goods at 130/135 against naturally smaller fighters.

Teo was getting pieced up by loma on the inside in the latter rounds; can’t see him control the ring with his lead hand against equally strong/rangier boxers.
