Here's the thing.
Let's say Spence wins. That's FIVE Top 5 Welterweights he'll have beaten and two championships he'll have won, in the same time it took Crawford to win one title at 147.
Let's say Spence loses. Spence will have made more money than Crawford has made in his ENTIRE 147 --AND-- Spence will be able to sell future PPVs, because we know this fight is going to be a barn burner worth paying for regardless.
Meanwhile, you still got Ugas out there with the WBA, he's going to have to defend here soon and as far I know, Keef is at the top of that list.
Could you imagine Keef against EITHER Spence (for the first time as a unification) or a rematch with Manny (which he deserves) for a unification?
UNLESS...WBA reverses its "champion in recess". But they wouldn't do that.
Then on the other side, Crawford has a choice to make come October. If he chooses to jump ship and join PBC, he'll be in there with absolute wolves hungry for blood and Arum is likely to screw him on the way out, meaning he might just end up losing his '0'. If he stays with Top Rank, he'll get paid for fighting the B-level for however many years, but even the media will see through the smoke.
