Pacquiao might get KOed by Spence, but we won’t know until they fight. And that’s what makes Pacquiao great, willing to test his limits. Floyd is an all-time great - I think he might be under-rated. And the one who under-rated him most is himself by the way he chose his fights, his demands, where he fought, and how he fought in the ring.

Floyd was a greater fighter than Pacquiao IMO, but in terms of respect, I respect Pacquiao far more than I’ll ever respect Floyd. Floyd wouldn’t dream of taking a risk like this.

Great comment this. As much as I dislike Floyd, (and I believe he was careful who he fought and at what weights etc,) he was an exceptional boxer, so that has to be acknowledged.
Pacquiao too is an exceptional, generational fighter, and he gets massive respect for continuing to push himself to compete at the highest level.
I see on this forum that 'fans' seem to cheer for boxers as though it's their sports team, which means they end up not acknowledging their opponents. Canelo and GGG. People either love em or hate them, but clearly they are both amazing fighters. I re-watched Canelo GGG 1 yesterday. Now, we can all agree that Canelo is an absolute monster of a fighter, and yet GGG deserved a W there or at the very least people should acknowledge that he earned that draw and Canelo dodged a bullet. So...if Canelo is THIS great, why not give GGG credit? People don't they say stuff like "GGG is a fraud". That's just ludicrous.

I think he's saying the Paul fight doesn't impact his career. I agree it doesn't. He's not competing in the sport so why should it.

The Paul fight is a literal exhibition. It has no bearing on Floyd or his ATG status.

However, Mannys continued willingness to fight Thurman and/or Spence, especially if he wins without controversy (which will be almost impossible - lil ***** Al will have Wilder Fury 1 and/or Charlo/Harrison 2 judges for sure...crooked af...black man wins aka #equality).

Nonetheless if Manny wins that might put him AHEAD of Floyd ATG although Floyd will always rank higher H2H
