Why is Fury afraid of Joshua?

We have learned some surprising truths recently - that Tyson Fury merely pretended to want to fight and beat Anthony Joshua, while two timing AJ, the media and boxing fans around the world. Now we know his true plan - it was to fight a meaningless (probably rigged) easy money third fight with wilder.
So the logical conclusion is that Fury fronted he wanted AJ but he really does not. But why?

It could be that Arum and Fury know they can easily handle every other hwt out there except AJ and Whyte (who kicked Fury's ass in sparring). Fury knows he can be a money machine and win all his fights for the next five years, if he just stays away from AJ and Whyte, which he can easily do by lies, political maneuvering and media manipulation. Five years of easy wins can add up to hundreds of millions of dollars, maybe even $500m. So why risk all that in a 50-50 or even 40-60 fight with AJ? Fury can just pull a mayweather and pretend to want the fight while hiding behind excuses, fabricated obstacles (Hearn, venue, site fee, ped accusations, etc).

Why does AJ scare Fury, who one would expect could outbox him like he did Klitschko. Joshua is younger and stronger and more confident, has more moves, more punch combinations than Klitschko. He's the best hwt in the world right now, the reigning undisputed champ. Fury is very very good and he has the potential to totally dominate with his physical edges, but he's got mental issues, he's fat, he has weak discipline and dedication (look at his body compared to AJ). AJ has been training all year for Fury already, with no contract signed, his attitude and body language about facing Fury are perfect and they express total confidence and zero reluctance or duckery. Fury can sense Joshua's confidence and it may intimidate him, though of course he would never admit it.

Facts are Fury lied and faked us about facing AJ and lying and deceiving are what weak minded powerless people do. Sure, Fury can talk about fist fights for $20m and some more bulljive, but we know the truth now, Fury is a liar, a fake, a fraud who only pretended to want to fight AJ. His intent all along was to fight wilder a third time.

I don’t think a heavyweight champion is scared of anybody but i think he is a bit worried due to the sparring they did years ago where he himself claimed Joshua gave him a beat down and he knows it’s a bigger challenge than wilder and probably afraid to lose his status but not of Joshua himself.

Silly argument to make when Fury was the first to face Wilder, pick himself up off the canvas to sc**** out a draw which should have been a win, and then completely dominated him in the rematch to a KO win. Neither AJ or Fury are afraid of the other, the fight will happen eventually so long as Fury maintains his belt in a third Wilder fight. If anything, it was Wilder who avoided both Whyte and AJ.

The whole thing is a joke overall but I've felt Wilder was always more of a threat to Fury than Joshua is.

I'm not saying Fury is scared of Joshua but Fury does seem to have a strange psyche. Or maybe interesting is a better word. He can be quite hard to read.

On one hand he seemed pretty timid in the fight against Wlad. He then didn't rematch him, turned his back on the sport and started doing drugs. He is also an over the top, ****y, loudmouth ****-talker and a lot of those types are actually insecure deep down so that all suggests maybe some mental fragility.

On the other hand he has been fighting from a young age and he did fight and beat Wlad and Wilder, both of whom were expected to KO him so that suggests confidence and bravery.

I believe that everybody has fears and insecurities but I suspect that maybe Fury has more than most, especially of losing and of failure. I also think has the mental strength to usually overcome that and that in a way those fears and insecurities actually drive him to achieve what he has.

So ultimately I would think Fury has some fear and respect of Joshua but it will just drive him to be at his best. I think the outcome of this fight will have nothing to do with mind games or mental battles etc as both guys will be on point mentally. I think it will come down to styles and just who the better man is on the night.

Fury isn’t scared. He is however a total moron who wouldn’t be able to do **** if it wasn’t for his mother having an affair with an octopus.

AJ is the rightful face of the HW division

For a fighter to hesitate at the chance of the biggest fight of all, to show reluctance and use lies to fake out of that fight is a form of fear. Teo Lopez hunted down Loma and got it done. Hagler went over to London to get Minter and the belts and he got it done. Salvador Sanchez challenged Little Red and got it done. Sugar Ray Leonard took the risk and beat Duran Hearns and Hagler. Daring to be great. Fury would rather fight the protected fraud bum wilder a third time than Dare To Be Great vs AJ. It's a form of fear.

Wilder was totally psyched out by AJ, he talked big but when the $120m offer came to fight AJ he ran for the hills like a coward. When it came time for Fury to dare to be great vs AJ, he faked and lied his way out of it.

No man will ever publicly admit to having fear of another man, especially a top boxer. He will try to conceal his true feelings and pretend to be what he is not. AJ keeps daring to be great, he keeps daring to be great, no talk no words, just bring it on. That's why you gotta admire AJ, he's the real deal. Fury has shown greatness too but he's also show he's a liar and a faker. All roads lead to AJ.
