Cotto's gonna show he's a much more skilled fighter than people give him credit for. Pacquiao isn't a great skilled boxer more than a very fast sharpshooter who sometimes throws blindly. Cotto waits for the opportunity and he strikes, he never wastes punches.

During the fight, Pacquiao's going to feel some shots that will turn the fight in Cotto's favor. I think Pacquiao took a huge risk in fighting Cotto before Floyd, and I believe it will backfire. Cotto's gonna be too strong and he can fight at the pace Pacquiao sometimes like to fight in.

I see Freddie throwing in the towel in the 10th.

Cotto's size advantage over Pac is a crap opinion?
Pac lone fight at welterweight he weighed in 148.
Cotto fights at welterweight usually he weighed in at 160.

ohh I remember everyone saying speed will kill Cotto then what happened?????????

Excellent counter punching kills speed and not only that . Cottos jab will fk up Manny before he knows it.......... This is an easy fight for Cotto I think everyone is underestimating him. HE is used to fighting bigger tougher opponents with a punch. Pacquiao has some power but not enough to hurt Cotto.
Maybe if the same Cotto that took out MOsley, Judah, and Malinaggi shows up I'll give it to him. Cotto's lastest performances haven't been the most impressive, so unless he gets back to old form, I'm picking manny. Not saying it'll be an easy fight because as you stated, Cotto does have attributes that can really mess pacman up, but from what i saw in his last two fights I don't expect Cotto to get the win. That doesn't mean I think Manny will run through him though.

what is your definition of boxing skills. mine is hit and not be hit. what the hell has he been doing in the last 3 fights? you are obviously a hater trying to compare pacs skills with hatton.

Saying pac boxing skill is on par with hatton... maybe you should direct yourself to the rehab. That WAS true several years ago.

What about Cotto's relenteless pressure? Viscious Body punching? Stiff Jab? Straight Right hand?

                Can Manny deal with that?

TS going way too far in saying Pac's boxing skills are the same as Hatton's. They far surpass that. Manny uses unique angles, as shown in a few threads has learned better counter punching technique and ability to bait opponents to set up big punches. He will fight the same way he always does, darting in and out throwing combinations. I expect him to be a little more cautious, at least to start the fight, because of Cotto's strength, but Pacquiao is what he is. Unless he can't stand Cotto's power at all, I expect it to work on route to a decision.
