Is Errol Spence’s jaw already compromised should he fight Canelo in the future?

Or can he work on defense like Oscar Valdez?

I think Canelo is too high a division now, Errol at best could do MW I doubt Canelo will ever go to 160 again.

Spence rehydrates 13lb for fight night. That’s what? 160? Remove a drain process and Spence goes in there comfortably. Assume Spence bulks on lean muscle like 5-10lbs and add drain to his catchweight weigh in with Canelo and he would be nice at around 163-164lbs ready for the scale. Spence, Crawford, their metabolism ability is no different than SRL, who dared up to 168 without drain processing.

As an Errol Spence fan, I have absolutely no desire to see him in the ring with Canelo.

I hope for Errol’s sake he is just running his mouth when he talks about it. Bad style matchup for him IMO.
