If this was Ryan Garcia, I would agree, because Garcia is a bit of a one trick pony and Linares will figure it out and take it away.

Haney is a little different. He's not a one trick pony, doesn't stand up stiff, and takes angles. Makes the fight a bit more difficult and at Linares' position, it'll wear him out.

Now, I also think Garcia would beat Haney right now because Haney doesn't make adjustments and won't think to even take away the left hook.

So, I don't know. Hopefully Linares gives Haney a tough fight but I won't be surprised if he loses. I've liked Linares since him and Valero were training and fighting out of Japan, so there is no bias. But Linares is an old dog man, doesn't look too good now days.

i just don’t see what all the hype behind Haney is. He’s looked average in all his fights. Nothing special. I think linares can beat him.

No doubt Haney should win this...
But I'm watching as a Linares fan, His style is fun to watch & these are the last X's.

it’s more that Linares is on his way out than Haney being special.

haney isn’t all that to me. In time he might get better and be really good but right now, he looks like James Toney without the natural talent and boxing IQ, to me.

but Linares in an old dog with a lot of damage accumulated. Haney could beat him just by youthful vigor and self belief.
