Who knows honestly...a week ago Hearn was convincing all who would listen that the AJ/Fury fight was signed, sealed and delivered. To be fair, this shouldn't have gone to arbitration-it should have been a give in for the trilogy. I know one side said the other was delaying it, but its tough to really say that when there was literally no boxing for a while due to the Covid. Still a fun fight and even if Wilder is 1 fight from losing remaining credibility, he is still a valid threat with that right hand.

Being a boxing fan is suffering. Looks like a fight to crown an undisputed champ is finally about to cross the finish line after months of agonising negotiations and then this crap happens. Even if Fury deals with Wilder and Joshua brushes off Usyk as is 90% probable, I just wonder what BS is going to spring up to derail the fight again in six months time when they try and make it again.

Usyk and his team may look smart for holding off on that Joe Joyce challenge until they knew for sure if Joshua/Fury was happening. As an Usyk fan, I am not looking forward to seeing a clean Joshua uppercut finding home on him. The man is tough, will hang in there and try to outbox him. But he may give up 40 pounds and may get crushed ugly.

I don't rate Uysk very highly at heavyweight, but on paper? This would be a great win for Anthony Joshua, making his resume even deeper.

It's quite simple, really. I look at when someone's been beat, at what stage of their career, and what they've done following.

Povetkin and Wvlad were both old, and had seen better days. One was literally coming off a loss and a layoff. The other was old, and coming off a draw many people felt he lost, against a blown up cruiserweight.

Povetkin was coming off a draw to Hunter, even though AJ fought Povetkin before that fight even took place? Yeah, good one. Povetkin would then go on and beat Hunter because the ropes held Hunter up which should have counted as a KD. And Dillian Whyte. But instead, you do a sad act of gymnastics by down playing Whyte, to downplay Povetkin. Any idiot can do the same. You just have to have the right kind of ******ity.

So Brook, badly drained at the weight and coming off a bad stoppage where he had his eye socket broken, is of quality, but Wlad, a long time reigning world champion and HOF'er, is to be considered as "Seeing better days"? Keep on embarrassing yourself, you seem to be doing great at it. Brook meant nothing anyway. Not in that state. Had he been good, he would have dominated the second half like he did the first. But being drained is going to take it out of you. Not Spence. Anyone who was solid could have taken it against that version of Brook.

You don't need to have held a world title. Proving yourself a world level fighter is better than holding a title and never beating a world level fighter yourself. Like Wilder and Liam Smith. Again, i'd like to say nice try, but i wouldn't mean it. That was poor. Really poor.

What did Kell Brook and Frazier do after losing to Spence and Foreman? You seem to think what you did following those fights to be of importance. Where is the importance here? Spell it out for me? Where did i say Spence was Jeff Lacy 2.0? Some did. I didn't. Although Spence still to this day hasn't beaten a world level fighter who wasn't at such a big disadvantage. He lost the Porter fight.

Clearly the 12th round was ruled a KD. For the less-initiated, I'm insinuating it should've been ruled a KO.

Then you can't count. Fury was up on 10. No KO what so ever. As proved, it would have been another case of corruption. Fury was clearly able to continue. He didn't wobble an inch.

IMO Wilder will regret not taking the fat step-aside check he could've had here. What's a few months later anyway? As it stands now, Wilder's reputation will be garbage after Fury destroys him again. Wilder could've just as easily taken a lesser fight vs Whyte or similar. This is what happens when a fighter believes his hype way too much.
