I was watching this & couldn't help notice Plant sounds/looks even more shook than I said BJS was(I said BJS looked like a lamb that knew he was being fed to the lion) but its funny how these Pbc fighters act like Al haymon is the mafia & if they dare go against his wishes they're getting whacked

They probably have a contract similar to the one that Dana White gives those UFC fighters. Which means they are his property and he does as he wishes with his property.
I mean look at Charlo's houses doe one of them even have that travel in time car!!!

Santa cruz named his son after Haymon if I remembered correctly, the whole thing seems a bit too master/slave/cultist...

Yes I'm exaggerating of course,but him & the rest of Pbc fighters ALWAYS refuse to say that they will fight elsewhere even for an astronomical amount higher than Pbc will give them.
Its bizarre.
They literally act like Al Haymon makes all decisions for them & they have no say so of any kind. I think Al has them on a tight leash like Ray said above,like a Ufc contract where Al has final say on all decisions & he can refuse any offer for any reason.(at least thats how I see it) they give off a creepy Helter skelter charles manson vibe like they're not a promotion but a commune where Als the leaderComment

santa cruz named his kid after him cause leo is paid if you watch the preview shows and you see his crib and cars....even a guy like ortiz has made a bunch of money...wilder made something like around 70 mil in about 3 fights....guys like danny are paid...tank is already paid....ask paul williams if hes straight and if al dont still keep in touch with him on the regular
if plant going to DAZN to fight canelo is the best thing for plants career he will allow it..he was still advising danny jacobs when hearn/DAZN came with a bunch of money...haymon allowed it realizing it was too good of a deal....it seems like a cult because these guys are genuinely happy with haymon and put their trust in him and you dont actually hear stories of his top names/stars beefing with him over money or wanting to leave......this "cult" BS is just a childish way of trying to explain why haymons fighters dont have the kingry/canelo/oscar spats in public or social media...or the arum/bud/teo spats...
haymon also has what is prob the longest list of established star named fighters and they are all happy and paid...thats alot of money to come up with and alot of dates/tv slots...and he gets it done....the haymon hating never ceases..hes not going away....haymon operates in his own way and its slightly different than how others do since hes not technically a promoter...but at his worst he is no worse than anyone else

Well yeah, Haymon haven't led him wrong since so why start now for the biggest fight of his career. Plant about to get PAID likely 8 Figures Minimum regardless if it is on DAZN, FOX or whatever
So yeah can't really say I blame him honestly because they help him get to this point in which he is about to become a very rich man off of 1 Fight
Now I will say a lot of fighters also do HIDE behind his Power and Influence in the sport so that doesn't help either and I can see how some fans point blame at Haymon because the fighters themselves don't say "Well I Was Really Given A List And I Chose To Fight Montiel When It Was Given The Option To Fight David Benavidez On PPV At 168". That is some BS and that is more so on the Fighters who only want EASY MONEY instead of taking a real challenge. ALI ACT, you cannot FORCE fighters to take certain fights or better fights. You can offer it and they take it over leave it, often times I heard if you become too picky you start to get passed over and Rightfully SoComment

Who cares if those guys are paid,every promoter has stars getting paid,you actually bringing up what cars they drive & sht they buy as if every star fighter ever hasn't done the same whether paid or not? (Notice theres never any reports of pbc fighters getting mega contracts,Plant made 750k his last fight ffs.(wilder didn't get paid by pbc til Dazn offered him 100mil)
And you're wrong about Jacobs too,Haymon didn't advise him to take the match room contract what a bunch of bs(prove me wrong) Haymon has NEVER advised his clients to take a deal outside his umbrella,thats a damned lie, despite him claiming to be an advisor looking out for fighters. If that were true he wouldn't have made Wilder turn down undisputed for over 100 mil merely because it was with Dazn
that alone proves your wrong.
Plant might be allowed to fight on Dazn for 1 reason only,Al considers him a bum with a lower ceiling who hes willing to cash in, especially if it gets him Canelo to fight pbc fighters later or sign w pbc.
If what you were saying was true you wouldn't have so many pbc champions like Charlo turning down 12 mil,or you wouldn't have all these pbc fighters asking for handouts from Canelo. Thats a damned lie that pbc pbc pays fighters well(some few fighters like Thurman were paid relatively high for their status as not being big draws but thats about it.)
