Ward retired 4 yrs ago, willing to come back 4 money v Canelo, would Canelo get credit?is it even worth the risk/reward ratio?why I give Ward lil shot

1st off let me say this:Ward is an atg smw,& I was a fan of his all those yrs he was called a featherfist/cheater/hypejob/CoWard/awful to watch club fighter etc.

The reason I give Ward lil chance of winning is simple,he was dropped by Kov/barely sc****d contentious win 1st fight,& contentious stoppage where Kov should've been given a count by any credible ref on earth. 2nd reason,he was known as a featherfist most his career(I completely disagree but the fact he was called this shows that the perception existed Because of his low ko rate,& because he was furthest thing from power puncher)

And also because he grew into a lhw, then retired because his legs were shot to sht(I'm not sure where his legs are today),& I also think Kovalev was in his weakest moment when Ward faced him(he had terrible trainer, etc)(yes I consider Mcgirt Kov who avenged loss to Alvarez & kod Yarde w a jab, much better all around strategy wise especially than 2 yrs prior kov(canelo faced him 2 yrs after Ward & kov was able to rehydrate to much heavier due to very late fight time)

And lastly I think Canelo is at his best & Ward is at his worst & 4 yrs retired & fat. (So even if the fights at lhw,no clauses,I think ginger wins on pts due to speed, prime,& even power(despite me not considering Canelo a power puncher as much as a accumulation damage fighter, whereas Ward is mainly a straight up & down boxer)

Forgot to add that Ward said this"im a fighter, its not hard to lure me into a fight,if Canelo wants to offer me enough I'm not hard to lure into a fight"(paraphrased)

So what say everyone,am I wrong,or how do you see it?

I promise you at this point Ward doesn't want anything to do with Canelo--

I think Canelo would hurt ward right now--ward would need some tuneup fights

I'd give Canelo credit. How much, I'm not sure. Ward's 37 and been retired 4 years. Plenty of active fighters I'd rather see canelo fight instead.

If it’s the same Ward he gets full credit at 175 lbs.

Nope. Canelo would get 0 credit. Ward last fought 4 yrs ago ffs. Dude can't make 168 anymore.
