If Joshua and fury doesn’t happen, That’s a massive blow for Eddie.
With Eddie moving his promotion to DAZN, And Joshua still under contract with sky, There is a chance that the next fight is going to be their last together. DAZN don’t want Eddie affiliated with Sky anymore.
That’s why Eddie has been desperate to make a fight as soon as possible, So he has no more ties to sky. That’s also why the fight got changed from a two fight to one.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens if the last fight on the contract with Joshua will be an Usyk fight, How that will affect a fight with Joshua and Fury, if AJ and Eddie don’t renew promotional contracts. There’s a good chance they don’t, at least short term.
Eddie is going to exclusive with DAZN. Joshua already has his own broadcasting deal so he can essentially just self promote in future.
