Yeah I agree man with most of this. Good elite, even fights are getting hard to come by in boxing.

Hopefully since a lot of places are making good progress with Covid now, hopefully things return to a little better spot in the sport soon.

Of course it hasn’t been all Covid. Promotion politics etc really seem to be holding boxing back lately.

Beterbiev isn’t waiting for him at all. He had Covid, took care of his mandatory, and is looking to unify against JSJ next.

And Bivol just made the mistake of signing with Matchroom when they have no LHW fighters, and Hearn gives two ****s about him.

They are not putting their career’s on hold because of Canelo. People say the same thing for the welter’s. But the truth is these guys just aren’t looking to challenge themselves, regardless. They are cherrypicking. Tank davis for example. This is just a blueprint Mayweather and Haymon have given their guys. If you think they were waiting for Canelo, Charlo would’ve already fought Canelo, or Plant etc.

What's to be help up at 168? There's Plant and Benavidez left and anybody else is basically a prospect or only just now started to get breakout fights like Gongora. Thin division.
