Deas isn't even a real trainer anyways imo, worst I've ever seen. I think Deas is just there for moral support,& Scott is the 1 training Wilder.but yes you're right,Deas isn't fired then.

Deas has been with Wilder from day one. Scott is clearly going to be the technical trainer while Deas gives him the support/motivation.

That's because it wasn't really a fight. The two are good friends. Wilder hit him with a shadow punch that barely connected. Scott just laid down. I remember them smiling at each other afterward as if they had pulled a fast one.

Yeah the phantom punch that Scott went down from. The replay expose them both.

Not sure if it was a dive for Wilder as much as it was a dive because Scott was a scared fighter. He did the same thing in the Ortiz fight, almost every round when Ortiz got close, Malik would drop. The ref ruled the majority of them slips, but was still credited for knockdowns in rounds 4, 5 and 9.

So I always looked at it as a Tyson/Seldon type thing.

Wilder speaks about being a black king yet a white man Jay Deas let him get his ass beat and a black man saved him and he fired the black man
does anybody else not notice who hypocritical Wilder is when it comes to this particular thing?

Wilder isn't sophisticated enough to be a hypocrite. He's simply a buffoon.
