It only has a chance if Pac & Mayweather both impressively stop Cotto & Marquez, respectively.

    In other words, highly unlikely.

1.25 million is a good over/under I think, assuming they both win of course.

pac/pbf will be bigger than pbf/dlh. the only thing that keeps it from making as much money is the economy

Bigger than DLH vs PBF in 2007? You mean more meaningful right? TopP4P fighters ect?

Come on we are talking about De La Hoya here. He has fans that watch boxing ppv only for him and nobody else. Women who hate boxing buy his PPV.

De La Hoya vs Mayweather was bigger than people realize. Oscar was coming off an impressive KO win over Mayorga to win the 154 belt and Mayweather was the reigning 147 champ.

          1. 154 Champion vs 147 Champion

2.Floyd taking a huge risk by moving up to 154.

3.People really believed that DLH has some gas left to take take him out.

          4.P4P#1 vs DLH

          5. The debut of 24-7

6.MASSIVE promotional butget of the fight. I mean DLH/HBO/Mayweather really went all out with this fight. Not that it needed more help but remember DLH name really gets people talking and hyping the fights at (work, parks, restaurants, gatherings ect...

          7. Mexican American vs African American

          8.Oscar was not shot

Maybe but my point is that DLH vs Mayweather would always do better PPV wise in a good, or bad economy (Under same scenario that happened in 2007).

No one can do better PPV numbers than De La Hoya and this fight will not happen.

depends on how they look on their next fights.

these two are well known even to non boxing fans. if it is promoted correctly then yes, it can.
