The thing about PBC… lots of fights are suspect. if the original narrative from industry rivals was that Haymon overpaid fighters then why wouldn’t a fallout artist be compensated greatly as well?
The Sebastian Heilland fight was one of the first red flags. This guy was CLEARLY limping on stage for a weigh in. His shadow boxing workout, days before at the Brooklyn Boxing shop had him limping in training... The fact that doctors didn’t instigate that or weren’t informed shows bad corruption from PBC for “the show must go on,” ratings depend on it.
So Heilland was paid nicely for his cooperation. This infamous “back end” money PBC kids love to narrate wouldn’t be available for a fallout artist?
Then you had some PBC HW fight a while back being investigated where the purse was being withheld for a minute.
Then you had Jeison Rosario…. Do PBC fans have any idea that South American currencies are significantly lower than the dollar? A cheap promoter would would go the lowest possible evaluating the purse in dollar to match the South American boxer’s average salary from his environment. But not with PBC whom over compensate… I highly suspect Heilland, Rosario, Uzcategui were significantly overpaid to their part for significant losses at PBC.
Nobody finds it su****ious that Jeison Rosario just vanished after the Charlo fight… were some worried that he would fold under pressure trying to do Q&A about his loss? Heilland just left the scene.
Now here’s the real beef of the theory. Plant always brings up Uzcategui in interviews that nobody thought he would beat him. He’s referring to pro boxers he’s been around teasing him that he would lose. These theories show that professional boxers can evaluate sparring sessions and real fights. Uzcategui was literally smiling at the cameras and cornermen after the 9th round. Uzcategui really hurt Plant, and Caleb was drowning to the 12th round not knowing what to do as he just quickly forgot about his defense, getting severely bruised up….
I think Uzcategui was payed to carry Plant. How was Uzcategui being so successful after the 9th just smiling knowing he was breaking Plant apart… why would he happy losing his belt knowing he is down points? This makes no sense and Plant’s face gettting lit oozing with blood. It’s obvious Uzcategui was paid to lose. I’m telling y’all he made a career high payday. The things is these South American boxers know such purse in dollar would change their life and they can be threatened or influenced that it’s a good thing since they’ll never be a star.
I want Canelo to be Undisputed, but it’s unfortunate Haymon been running a scam at the 168 IBF with Plant.
