That PBC/Showtime card was excellent.

Gamboa looks shot, I get it’s a name but it’s a poor fight in all honesty.

Probably the best case scenario for Colbert is he gets the Santa Cruz fight at 130.

Maybe the WBA order Colbert vs Gutierrez at some point too.

I think LSC is going back down to 126.

Good call on Gutierrez, maybe that is the way to go. But he just very well may need to move up to 135 and get in the mix with those guys there.

They need a proper matchmaker in my opinion and that is slick Rick Richard Schaefer.

What he did in 2013 with Uncle Al's stable and SHOWTIME is some of the best matchmaking/card creating/booking/promoting/storytelling that's ever happened anywhere. We need that Schaefer back with Haymon

Well they are trying to build Mexican co-mains for Benavidez and Charlo PPV’s.

Good time tonight. Great fights. Always good to see an Mexican friendly fight card from Carson. Wish the Olympic Auditorium and Fight Night at the Forum were still going strong.

2013 is one of my favourite boxing years in recent memory.

What's the difference ? Those are casual fans and they dont buy PPV (hence why Wilder and Spence arent PPV names)

Kudos to the fighters for making it a fun card. Match making plays its part but at the end is up to the fighters to bring it.
