Um, so does every boxer kid. There's a difference between effective boxing whilst going backwards (in which case you always sacrifice some power) and planting your feet to maximize power and sacrifice some mobility. In fact, I expect that Pac's downfall will come when he decides to exchange with Cotto for however long, he is an aggressive fighter after all, and suffers the consequences.

Cotto is lucky the fight isnt at 144lbs.. He has size, strength and power advantages.. Pacman has speed and stamina.. Ring size shouldnt matter TOO much.. You morons expect Pacman, who started his career at 96lbs to go toe to toe with Cotto?? Really? please.. The game plan will be similar to the Oscar fight.. Make Cotto look like hes fighting under water.. Get in and out, stick and move... Kinda like Cotto did his last 3/4 fights.. Idiots..
But Cotto has decent boxing skills and since Manny is smaller
Cotto will be the pressure fighter. Manny doesn't have the size
nor power to back Cotto up. The closer this fight gets I'm favoring
Cotto more and more to win. Cotto went head up with Mosley and
beat him to the punch at times and took some solid shots from Mosley/
Margarito and Clottey. If Cotto can come with a strategy to cut
off the ring then Pacquiao is going to get beat bad UNLESS Cotto
leaves himself totally open like he has in the past.

very true cotto is very lucky this fight didt happen at 144 thats were roach and pac man ****ed up. that same game plan that worked on oscar aint gonna work on cotto. mark my words in fact quote me, "pac man is ****** enough to go toe to toe with cotto and that will be his biggest mistake." just like people were saying hatton will go back to his own ways so will pac. pac cant fight a technician style fight its not in his nature.

Manny Pacquiao is a lil too wild sometimes and swings with
his head down. Manny also loses balance at times. He has
great speed but Cotto ain't Ricky or Oscar. Manny will not
go through this fight dominating Cotto UNLESS Cotto is totally
unprepared. IF Manny was a technical fighter with patience
and timing like JMM or Floyd I would say Cotto is done but
Manny can get suck into a brawl easily. Cotto's going to
press the fight and Manny is going to have no choice but
to fight. Manny's not going to go through this fight unscathed
UNLESS Cotto gets careless and does a Ricky coming in.
Cotto dropped Clottey with a jab and scooped slammed him
like nothing........ Cotto's a strong kid. Only a technical
game plan from Pac will beat Cotto along with patience
because speed and in/out punching ain't going to do because
Manny ain't a crazy puncher with exception to Ricky Hatton
who stuck his chin out farther than his chest.

i don't understand this, since when has pacquiao become paulie malignaggi? how does a big ring help manny? manny is not a boxer that uses the ring to his advantage and regardless of the size of the ring manny always seems to end up on the ropes in all his fights

This coward can fight odlh at 147, but not cotto? Hum, I smell fear from this fool! Cotto win KO in 10th
I smell hater. Dont forget. Delquitter wanted a farewell fight with Pac and got his farewell BEATDOWN, AHAHHAHAHA (I STILL LAUGH AT THE REPLAYS OF DELAQUIITER GETTING BEATDOWN).

Your right, Manny ends up on the ropes beating down someone in the corner.

Does anyone have a pic of how big this ring can be?

or has there ever been a fight with a ring size that is alike?

                      please post some pics.
The Mayweather - Hatton ring was 24 feet.
