Boxing Debate : How would a PRIME Kell Brook do against Bud and Spence?

Everyone agrees that Brook had a career altering injury in the GGG fight and was never the same. Want proof? I though Kell Brook had an easier time with Shawn Porter than either Spence or Thurman did. I thought Brook was able to use the 1-2 beautifully and had much more success keeping Porter off of him than any of these other guys were. He did a great job tying him up and making it hard for Porter to do what he usually does on the inside.

So how much did Brook mess up his career by taking the GGG fight? Does that version of Brook beat Crawford or Spence?

He'd have a pretty good chance. Alot of people dismiss him cause after beating porter (more comfortably than spencer did) he went on a spree of beating no hopers.

He was beating Spence before his eye gave out so I'd say he'd have a good chance against him . Crawford idk that's a tough one but he was looking good in that fight too soo who knows

Prime Brook definitely had a good chance of beating either of them considering his slightly past it self was beating Spence the first half and his even more past it version was giving Bud issues before the KO(was a nice KO too)

I've always thought this lowkey. Kell brook was never AMAZING. But he was a big guy for 147, and he wasn't bad either. It's not only the fact that GGG, a power puncher 2 weight classes above ****ed up Brook. You gotta remember that Brook went down to 147 right afterwards to fight Spence. Yikes. He was also probably drained, which is why he went to 154 right afterwards. So he got a ****ed up eye and was drained going into fighting Spence.

I thought Spence was comfortably winning had it gone the distance, but Brook was putting the work in. If Brook wasn't damaged and drained, I could totally see Brook outpointing Spence.

I had Brook winning every round except maybe round 3? prior to his glass jaw being tapped out. I could also see Brook beating Bud.

The weight cut to 147 must have been terrible after he went up to 160 and took a year off. Very bad to make the weight especially if you are already a big welter and haven't fought at 147 in almost 2 years. I forgot that he was 175lbs 30 days out from the GGG fight compared to 165 for GGG.

Prime Brook beats Spence. It was 4-4 after 8 rounds in their fight and Brook gassed out...which is what happens to any fighter when they jump up 2 weight classes then back down 2 weight classes...147 --> 160 then back to 147. RJJ is the classic example...

Tough to say with Crawford because Brook was so faded by then

Brook always looked huge. I watched the G fight again a few months ago and Brook even looked big in that fight.
