Think about just how utterly rediculous that makes Espn look. Whether you think Canelo won or not is irrelevant to this argument btw,so try not to frame your argument around that too much, because I can chop that argument down easily

How can you rank Ggg pre Canelo #1 p4p for the longest time, yet Canelo has never been p4p even despite moving up & beating ggg/kov/Jacobs/Smith/BJS

Does that make sense to anyone?

When was GGG ranked #1 by espn? I thought Loma was #1 p4p when Canelo beat GGG. If GGG was #1 when Canelo beat him in 2018 then I do agree with you that Canelo should have been #1 on their rankings.

This was after beating Jacobs they proclaimed him p4p king. Think about how laughable that is that he beat Jacobs less clearly than Canelo beat him in rematch imo at least
Middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin jumped to the top of the ESPN pound-for-pound rankings with a victory over Daniel Jacobs. But who made the rest of the top 10?

Lomachenko must have passed him after he beat Rigo though. I doubt GGG was #1 p4p when they fought the second time. It was ridiculous to make him 1 after the Jacobs fight, even more ridiculous to keep him there after the 1st Canelo fight when Loma beat Rigo and Crawford won a belt in his third weight class.

You're missing the point,(even though Loma being #1 at any point also makes my point) point still remains that you can't claim ggg was p4p for beating Jacobs in 2017 but still never have ranked Canelo #1 despite his career resume & yrs of beating champs in multiple divisions including ggg. It shows extreme biased of epic proportions.

Espn is a travesty of a shthouse full of salty haters like Atlas,Bradley etc.(it's laughable that Canelos been #3 for years)

What reason would they have to be "haters"

They've been salty about Canelo for years & loved ggg.(ggg was the media darling) either way how else can you explain ggg being p4p for fighting 1 single opponent & winning vacant belts & jr belts at the time, but never having to this day had Canelo #1?

Really they did? I always remember Bradley and Atlas being 2 of the few people out there that had the balls to say that GGG was not what everyone was hyping them up to be. That's just what little I know though because I really don't watch much of espn, these are some of the old fight hype videos from back in the day where Bradley I thought said GGG would lose to Canelo. I though Atlas predicted he would lose badly to Canelo too and was very critical of his performance against Kelly Brook. I thought I remember Bradley saying Canelo would win that fight easy,

Atlas is weird,he likes to predict fighters will win, then he'll say they robbed an opponent in a close fight(he did that to Ward too)

,then he holds a grudge against them & it shows in how he votes for p4p. He has his favs like Loma & Pac who walk on water,he had loma p4p from like his 6th fight,& thats despite having a loss already at the time. Bradley is a company man,so hes taking it upon himself to hate on Canelo.(the media has ALWAYS been ggg fans imho, Lampley literally was crying about ggg getting robbed all the way til HBOs last broadcast & signed off as a salty ggg fan.(& Hes still salty to this day,he LOVES ggg,as does Kellerman)

I think they hate Canelo because hes the Clen villan,& because hes not with espn.

Heres another interesting fact,Espn voted Canelo fighter of the yr 2018 & 2019 yet hes still not #1,that doesn't even make Sense does it? (the last fighter of the year award was 2019, because of pandemic)
