Terence Crawford never tried to pretend that he wasn't a big lightweight. Terence Crawford never won a belt a junior welterweight and then went back down to 135, using the excuse that he was too small to fight at 140. Or to avoid fighting a mandatory at 140 who happened to be undefeated at the time and perceived as a very difficult fight to win.

He never hid at a catchweight of 137 trying to pretend that 140 was a too big for him.

Crawford had fight night weight disclosures gaining 18lb from his 135 weigh ins.

Again, he never tried to pretend he wasn't huge for that weight class

I actually agree with you for a change that both Crawford and Canelo have much better power fighting at their natural weight, but that means that you have to admit that Canelo was always a middleweight despite him lying and saying otherwise, and was making excuses not to fight GGG until he saw him look beatable against Kelly Brook and Jacobs.

Yes, "pretend." because that is exactly what Canelo did, admit it.

Spence obviously. How do you allow a man to show up to your fight and then not even let him in the ring? He had no problems letting pacquiao in the ring, but the second Bud stepped in his hometown he had his security walk him away.
