Canelo does look bulkier mate while watching the fight i was thinking Canelos arms are nearly twice the size of BJS, being short is a bit of an advantage if the same weight ofc.

Canelo has more muscularity, lower body fat percentage than BJS. But from me and my brothers eyes we are sure BJS weighed more in there. No way Canelo outweighed him. I know muscle weighs more than fat per volume but both these guys were in fighting shape. Canelo is 5’8” at most. BJS had a good wide back. Canelo is solid but he’s no bodybuilder. That Mexican 108lb’er was way more stacked. Saying Nelo had twice as big arms is way out of line. Power isn’t something that can be easily based on physique. The last punch of every Canelo combo is sent with maximum force. Left jab to the face, left uppercut, then a violent left to the body all building in strength. Try his combos and you will see how his technique makes the most of his natural strengths. Wilder is lighter than and taller than everyone he usually fights. But he has an eraser. Doesn’t fight like Canelo. RJJ could fight with his hands down like BJS but he had way more speed and power. There’s no ideal physique. Canelo is just that good.
