The injury was like if an average man had swung a baseball bat in his face. The cheek bone all crushed in.

Think what another of those shots to that region would have done; he would have lost the eye - if he was lucky!

Definitely the right call with such a bad injury.

The problem with the Dubois quit was that it looked weird from the spectators POV because he seemed ok then suddenly knelt. With Bill you saw the cheek bone popped in straight away, and he still fought for the rest of the round!

I expect his career is over now.

Billy-Hoe, found himself in trouble in the mid-rounds and wanted a way out, he did not respond like his cornerman wanted, that is code for '' HELP, I want out, stop the fight -- I'm not really about everything I said I was.''
Saunders isn't an ATG like Donaire nor a potential ATG like Inoue though

Katie Taylor would probably rather fight Canelo than Delfine Persoon after their two FOTY thrillers, to be hones. Billy Hoe Saunders would probably quit against the Belgium wild-cat too.

Both Naoya Inoue and Nonito Donaire are cut from a different cloth. Speaking of Donaire, I remember when Nonito blew-out Ryan Burnetts cheeks and made him quit like fellow Brit, Billy Joe Saunders. I also remember when Donaire blasted Fernando Montiel with a brutal left-hook, the brave ' Cochulito ' thought he was riding a bicycle on the floor with the side of his face caved-in, but Fernando tried to fight on and beat the count ; in that instance Fernando Montiel showed more courage than Billy Joe has in his entire miserable life.

Japanese and Mexican culture share that same tenacity. Warriors till the end. Not just empty words and actually do need to be saved from themselves sometimes.

Andrade stands no chance against Canelo. He’ll meet the same fate.
