Funny that canelo said it, but let's not forget when they were at 154 ibs, canelo didn't want any smoke with andrade, then as soon as andrade vacates his title, canelo fought liam smith for andrade's WBO belt. Andrade just fights a bunch of mismatches with his boring style. He is exactly what canelo just fought in bjs. A slick boxer with a thin resume. The Caleb plant fight is more interesting and clearly the fight to make. Meanwhile Andrade should grow a pair and take on ggg

I believe that fight would have happened already if it was up to Andrade and GGG is the A-side with the power to make the fight if he wants it.

You mean when Canelo was lineal & fighting guys like Lara/Trout/Cotto? Even Smith was a better Champ than Andrade,at least he earned that belt,Andrade was going life & death with bums even then,& Williams is top 2 win.

You aint making sense man. Trout? Canelo fought Trout even before the Mayweather loss. He then moved up to Caneloweight to hide from all the smoke so he can d what he does, pick and choose who to fight.

He fought Trout after Trout beat Cotto and Trout was unbeaten, credit to him for that. He then lost to Mayweather, I can't give him credit for that, anyone, literally anyone would take that fight and anyone would get schooled too.

Taking the Lara fight, even at Caneloweight is worthy of respect. Ducking the rematch after a robbery/controversial decision however is not.

When Mayweather had debatable decisions against Castillo and Maidana, he gave immediate rematches and seperated himself. Canelo ran away from the Lara rematch just like he is running away from the GGG trilogy, trying to wait him out I guess. Even the rematch was delayed because Canelo tried to ped use, and the original fight was delayed as Canelo tried to drain GGG to 155lbs, and then tried to age him too.


Also, Canelo didn't only duck Andrade when he was champ at 154lbs, he also ducked the Charlo's, choosing by far the weakest paper champ in Liam Smith instead of fighting either of the Charlos.

Man I don't even know why I'm going through this with you Canelo has ducked so many fights its ridiculous at this point.

Having said that, credit where credit is due. He is a cherry picker yes but why aint these other guys Cherry Pick? Why didn't Charlo cherry pick Kovalev? Why didn't Andrade try to cherry pick the super middleweight division after Benevidez lost his battle? Why didn't Charlo try to Cherry pick Caleb Plant?

Yes Andrade did try to Cherry Pick Saunders and Saunders did test positive for peds and then ran to 168 before rhe reschedule, but whay about the others, what about Callum Smith or Caleb Plant?

The fact is that Canelo has a goal and a vision for his career. He also has ambition. Yes he ducks and picks here and there, but he is still doing way more than these other guys, which is of course why he has the second best resume of all the active fighters.

It is what it is. I'm not gonna pretend he didn't duck certain fighters, but I'm also not gonna pretend he aint putting in the work, also not gonna pretend that these certain other fighters are perfect because they doing alot of ducking too, and are totally devoid of ambition.
