I would argue that its the opposite : Saul Alvarez is more fundamentally sound, Terence has more range, his attacks are creative and unorthodox, 'Bud' has more variety at his disposal. Canelo, has a short compact frame, so naturally he is going to produce more crispy tighter and faster punches/combinations.

And the best part of Terence Crawford's skills is that they are all natural, no PED required to deliver the goods, so you got to conclude that his drug free career makes him the real P4P in the sport of boxing.

Why show Jose Benavidez? Benavidez was bigger, taller, Crawford didn’t give the fans a walk down performance with the size disparity from Ring Champ Callum Smith. Jose Benavidez was coming off some rehabilitated gunshot wound to the leg….

Amir Khan was forever changed by Canelo the way Brook was forever changed by GGG. Being stunned and wobbled but continuing to flee from opponents was always Khan’s style. The fuse broke when he finally fought Canelo.

        Jeff Horn?

Punching technique, Canelo operating at a higher level. Crawford more rudimentary street brawler with good ring IQ.

You can’t compare the two. Canelo is going to retire with an ATG career.

Why isn’t Crawford fighting anyone good at 147? I don’t understand it.

Nothing wrong to challenge or be curious as to why ESPN didn’t place Canelo #1

I don’t know why Crawford is considering in the top 5 p4p. He hasn’t fought any of the best 147 fighters (Spence, Porter, Garcia, Ugas etc).

In his last 4 fights included Amir Khan, Kell Brook and Jess Horn. He shouldn’t be anywhere near the top P4P

how can you say canelo is more well-rounded when bud can fight from an entire stance that canelo cannot fight from? Canelo drug his knuckles in the dirt when he hit bjs with that uppercut, I would say canelo has better head movement than Crawford, but bc counterpunching is his weapon, Crawford fights more off of the front foot. But Crawford has far more tools

Imagine if Canelo fought nothing but mandatories.. He'd have a 100% KO rate.
