Whatever you think about Young Eubank, he's been in his share of wars (some of which shouldn't have been wars) and hasn't ever been seriously hurt.

But he's also not the same guy that almost killed or permanently paralyzed Nick Blackwell.

Eubank, of course, fought Yildirim some years ago before losing to George Groves - the same Groves that was retired by Callum Smith - same Callum Smith that was dominated by Canelo.

Eubank of course has nothing of real value to offer Canelo. He doesn't even have the IBO strap at 168 (even though that probably means nothing to Canelo, it'd be something) anymore.

But it would make for a very interesting stay-busy fight until the Plant fight is made, especially given the history between Saunders and Eubank.

We know Canelo wins...but does he brutally stop and retire the son of the guy that was brutally stopped and retired by Carl Thompson?

C'mon NSB, I know most of you got it wrong with Saunders and I exposed it...but we need to look past that.

As I've always said about Eubank, dude has an engine,& finally has an ecu & transmission to go w it. And he has a helluva chin. That said I doubt he last 12 either,I think hed get stopped (he wouldn't quit nor get face broken) hed be like an Angulo 2.0 imho(but better)

Eubank Junior is not greatly skilled, but? He has elite level endurance, a type of endurance that people have not seen since Joe Calzaghe & Carl Froch.

Alvarez for me, still has below par endurance and not many gears.

I want to see Eubank Junior face Alvarez.

Eubank Junior has the athleticism, but does not seem gifted in terms of creativity and reading fights. But maybe he can improve this while working with Roy Jones Junior.

Eubank Junior lost to Groves, but Groves left that fight in a bad way. When Eubank Junior decided to just throw caution to the wind, he was knocking Groves about etc

Carl Froch who was a extremely strong Super Middle Weight, has mentioned how strong Eubank Junior is.

          That would be...an unfortunate ending.

What makes you think Chris wouldn't quit though?

Many felt Saunders wouldn't quit and we saw what happened.

I think this newfound power of Canelo's might just be enough to make Eubank's corner toss a towel just like his dad. Senior wasn't going to quit on his own against Carl Thompson despite getting brutalized, either.

Eubank wouldn't quit because hed actually go out on his shield. Remember,I predicted the exact rd Saunders would be kod in x3 ,& I literally changed my pick at last second Because I felt Saunders might survive til the 9th(& sure enough I was right in both picks & it was between both)(& I said he would quit)

Eubank matches up better imo,but he too would be stopped (hed probably be seriously damaged & snr would throw in towel)

Eubank has a bit of that toughness and grit his father was famous for but come on Canelo would utterly pulverise him .

See, that's what I also think. I just don't see Eubank being able to deal with Canelo's countering.

Canelo would batter him. He’s wild and unrefined. Canelo would find countering him incredibly easy. His best chance would be to rough him up in close and try and wear him down.
