Canelo's power is average at best.

I don't think "average" power makes guys back track and quit in fights. Apparently GGG didn't like what he was feeling either and that's why he chose not to stand and trade in the 2nd fight.. And no I'm not a Canelo fan. I've often said weekly, I can count on one hand the amount of fighters I like above the weight class of 130. And that includes no fighters at 135, 147, 160, or 168.

BJ's face literally caved in. You don't do that with average power.

You're right, its not Canelos fist that have power its his opponents faces that are powerful enough to slam into them hard enough it thereby induces bones to collapse. Also the earth is not round,we actually live in a snow globe & gravity isn't real, its actually density that makes objects fall to the ground............

His power is legit, anyone who thinks it isn't is clearly lacking brain-cells. He really loads up and sits down on his shots now and he can do it round after round. He has very heavy hands.

Those at ringside will tell you the difference in sound between Canelo's punches and his opponents is massively noticeable.

His power seemed to increase slightly as he moved up in weight, very similar to Pac who was also breaking orbital bones at his higher weights. He was never a one punch power guy, that doesnt mean his power isnt good, Pac wasnt a one punch finisher either.

That also wasnt luck, Canelo lost a few rounds mid fight and was swinging at air after BJS adjusted his style a bit and was ducking very low on any hooks to the head. Canelo noticed this and made his own adjustments with the upper cut which he was trying to land many times and finally got him. There is nothing lucky about that.

He’s got very good power, not all time great power like Julian Jackson, but he’s accurate and hits hard.

People can hate all they want, but Canelo is putting together and all time top 10 resume and he’s only 30.

His power is good enough to break faces and arms. And to have people reacting quickly to defend every feint.

Yes he has a very consistent thudding power. Just because you arent a one punch guy doesnt mean you dont have power. Hes a bit like vitali who would break guys down with consistent power but not one punch power. Its also rare to be able to carry your power up to higher weight classes like that and even increase it. At 154 he was not sitting on his punches like he does now. JMM did this when he moved up an sat on his punches more. Pac had such speed he didnt really appear to sit on them they were more stinging but still powerful.
