That's what I don't get? Andrade had many times to step up and takes fights away from Canelo. He backed out on Charlo and Sergiy at the last minute. Saunders wasn't his fault though.

They know Canelo game plan and not ate trying to hijack it.... Take Plant out! Benavidez vs. Charlo winner would lead Canelo no CHIOCE to fight.

He dipped his toe in to 175 with a faded Kovalev and although he did real well and beat the Russian I think he felt that that weight class is a step too far when considering the prime young champions so he is happy to do his work at 168. But I see nobody who is there or Charlo or Andrade at 160 beating him
Hes been saying along with his trainer that after Plant hes going for Beterbieve (nobody believed him about Kov at 1st either, then they called him old as soon as Canelo showed hes serious)(I know hes said the opposite also, but I think he was trying to make a point)

Beterbieve would be a war,but I think he is tailor made style wise, but Bivol would give him a true boxing match imo

I thought Saunders looked much bigger than Canelo. And Bieterbiev used to fight at HW in the amateurs. Sho he's super big for a LHW.

Listen, why should Canelo’s first priorities be to fight someone WITH NO BELT? After he gets all the belts, then he should fight those up and comers.
Now that said, those, guys with NO BELTS, should be FIGHT EACH OTHER to see who deserves a Canelo PAYDAY.
Everyone shouldnt get a payday. Only risk takers should. I’m fookin tired Of this “everyone is a winner mentality”
THERES no one in 160-168 division that can come close to beating him.

Bring on Bivol or Beterbiev. No need to see Canelo fighting on guys that have zero chance.
Canelo could be 2x undisputed if he had fought Andrade but he dumped belts again. Yep he beats Andrade on rigged cards like he had vs. Bivol but doesn't outbox him. Canelo's feet are slow and Andrade pops in and out on you. Maybe he has slowed down enough at 168 plus 34 now. Who knows? Canelo won't fight him anyway. I always viewed the match up like the Rose fight at lighter weights. Andrade is a nightmare for a smaller fighter with shorter arms to try and walk him down with high guard.
