I know we've had our differences. We've called your fighters overrated and you call us "fat yanks" (I still don't get it). The truth is, while I still think we're king, the UK has given us some great athletes, and I'd like to make this thread so everyone can post their fav UK fighter. saying as ive written a few posts about him today.
The reason i started watching boxing as a kid, and my all time fave (even though part of me hates the lazy **** for denying us fans some amazing wars by retiring early)

Many people dislike him for his attitude... and because he 'slaps' but people need to realize he only started doing it after hand troubles... he hit that way because he could use his speed and hurt the opponent a bit whilst not breaking his hands in every fight. Whether you like it or not, he is a talented fighter... he achieved a lot and you can't take that away from him, though some people are biased because he beat what was a past prime Jones and Hopkins, that aint his fault... he wanted them in there prime but they wanted to go onto bigger and better things, Joe got them when he could get them... can't blame him for that, he is a talented fighter, a unique fighter.

You made a mistake by just making this thread, soon enough the Americans will come in and say all brittish/european fighters are overhyped bums etc etc. Americans hate Britain aswell as europe.
