PBC on Fox NOW Promoting Canelo vs Plant Next! No Excuses

But Canleo says he has a good relationship with Hearn and DAZN. Most of the PBC crew were biased during the lead up to both Fury-Wilder fights, and even they were supporting Wilder's costume and equilibrium excuses. I expect DAZN and FOX to work together like PBC and ESPN did, and like DAZN and ESPN will.
After Plant's last fight, he kept finishing the Canelo questions with "We can fight right here or Fox" and "It can all happen on this great platform here on Fox." I've seen company men before, but he was saying it so much it was like he wants to cause a problem in the negotiations.Comment

He does like Hearn.

But he is at the point where he can call his own shots. Don't see him having a problem fighting on Fox as long as they pay him.Comment

Damn, why did I remember him as a lefty?
Must have gotten my wires crossed with Andrade.
Its getting late and I've had a few beers so I apologize.

Why would DAZN and FOX work together? Canelo isn't under contract with DAZN. He owes them nothing. He works with Eddie who will likely put up the DAZN bid, but I have a feeling it will be topped by FOX. This will be a winner take all bid, no copromotion needed.

PBC has multiple fights to offer Canelo. They can tie him up for two or three fights. Benavidez, Charlo, Plant. Even on a fight to fight basis. The most DAZN can offer is a past expiry trilogy with GGG.

I thought the point of being a free agent was that he could go anywhere. But Canelo recently said he wants to work with Hearn for the Plant fight, and after the fight, Hearn said he's going to get on the phone to make the Plant fight happen.

Yes, that's why it's possible he goes to FOX PPV next. He needs Eddie to negotiate on his behalf. Working with Eddie doesn't necessarily mean he will fight exclusively on DAZN going forward.
If PBC or another broadcaster continually put up better offers, Hearn will have to advise Canelo to accept them.Comment

Hearn wouldn’t need to advice Canelo to accept them. Canelo is his own boss. He would accept the best offers on the table without having to sign his life away, the only people who would turn down guaranteed cash with no string attached are those PBC ******.
