Saunders fought a good fight and he didn't fear Canelo. Saunders used his movement, jab and ring generalship well throughout the fight. Canelo seemed content on going to the body and cutting off the ring. I did notice that Canelo was starting to have trouble with Saunder's mobility and movement throughout the fight. If Saunders had some power behind his punches he could have beaten up Canelo and made him retreat. In the end though Saunders quit the fight. I would rather have seen him get knocked out than have his corner throw in the towel on him. To me Canelo is like a modern day Tyson where fighters that enter the ring against him are already scared and they fight that way. I would like to see Canelo fight Demetrius Andrade next.

I had mentioned that Canelo was active and would be sharp. BJS did well in spots but some of those punches were setting him up for later in that fight. It was obvious that they saw how BJS likes to avoid punches by ducking and bending. There was a reason why Canelo was throwing so many uppercuts.

Who has Charlo fought? To everyone who says Canelo needs to fight Andrade and Jermall Charlo, why don’t they fight each other, the winner fight GGG and then demand a fight with Canelo? Ggg wont fight either one of them guys. Truth be told, anyones resume can be picked apart, including canelo. Bjs hadnt fought anybody, callum smiths resume was weak as well, so was rocky fielding and yildrims resumes weak. Canelo still chose to fight them. Stop talking that who deserves sh**. What happened to Saunders line about having to get carried out of the ring? Did that line apply to everyone but himself?
He got paid millions to go above and beyond to reach the pinnacle, but whimpered out by his own alleged standard.
Hopefully Saunders finally takes time to reflect on the past.
I think he's gotten by on his raw talent which has taken him this far without having to stay in shape and live the life, but when it finally came to the level he didn't have within his easy grasp, all the years of not living the life came rushing in the door.
