Joe Calzaghe and Jo-Emma Larvin back together

Last week, it was feared the boxer’s five-year relationship with the model was on the rocks over claims Jo-Emma was jealous that Joe had been partnered with sexy Strictly Come Dancing queen Kristina Rihanoff.
Friends say Jo-Emma, 28, hit the roof after bruiser Joe, 37, agreed to take to the dance floor with the Siberian temptress.
But yesterday, Joe and Jo-Emma were all smiles as they walked hand in hand through central London – ending fears that their romance was over.
Friends say the pair patched up their row following a series of heart-to-hearts and after Joe bombarded Jo-Emma with text messages and phone calls.
Yesterday, a friend said: “It seems now that Joe and Jo-Emma are back together.
“We were all surprised last week when it emerged that the pair may have split.
“But Joe and Jo-Emma have always been a solid couple and it is no surprise that they now appear back together.
“Jo-Emma has stood by Joe for years and been there for him during some of his most toughest fights.
“All couples obviously have rows from time to time and I am happy to see them back.”
Joe and Jo-Emma are said to have had a bust up several weeks ago after the model learnt he was to be partnered with Kristina on the new BBC1 series of Strictly which starts next month.
A close friend of Jo-Emma’s said: “Jo-Emma saw Kristina as a femme fatale and was livid he was put with her.
“Dancing is such a sexy thing to do and Jo-Emma hated the thought of Joe getting up close and personal with a woman like Kristina.”
Friends say Jo-Emma was worried after learning Kristina had a fling with fellow Stritcly dancer Vincent Simone, behind his partner Susan Duddy’s back, whilst on the show’s tour of the UK last year.
A friend said: “Jo-Emma saw Kristina as a definite rival. She knows she can be a complete temptress and hit the roof when she found out they were together.
“But after a series of heart to hearts with Joe it seems they have now put this silly row behind them.”
Earlier this year, Jo-Emma told how she wanted to marry Joe and have his children.
Back in January, she gushed: “Marriage is something that will happen in the future.
“I definitely want to have kids. But it would have to be in the future.
“Everybody has told me that we shouldn’t rush into it and that I should have them when I’m ready.”
“I definitely want children. I’ll be an older mum and have kids in my 30s like (supermodel) Linda Evangelista did – I think I’ll be a cool mum and I want to bring them up to be strong and independent.”
Jo-Emma also spoke of her lovev for Joe last summer after the pair appeared on the All Star Mr & Mrs Show on ITV1.
The model gazed into Joe’s eyes as she told show hosts Philip Schofield and Fern Britton how the pair loved country walks and solving puzzle books in bed together at the weekend.
Jo-Emma began dating Joe after his split with former wife Mandy in 2004. Joe went through a bitter divorce battle but remains incredibly close to their sons Joe, 15, and 12-year-old Connor.
