you think it would be a good idea? They say dont ever switch south paw against a southpaw but Cotto is actually a south paw who fights orthodox himself so he knows how to defend it better.

i know roach already said he's plan for it...plus i think Cotto does it naturally not really a tactical game plan..he switches sometimes without even knowing...im sure he'll do it during the fight..

I think he will. His left is his strong hand and he knows how to throw it with accuracy too. But but he also has to use that left hook when Pac rushes in.

He should have done it more against Mosley, Margarito, and Clottey. I don't know if he should do it against Pac. That left jab is just gonna be so important.

he'd be much more open for the manila ice if goes southpaw.. And if u haven't notice pac is not troubled by southpaws in the diaz fight pac landed almost everything he threw and when morales turned southpaw a couple of times in their 1st fight pac got the upper hand.. Pac's kryptonite is the straight right hand down the middle, thats the best punch to counter pac when his coming in.. cotto should be working on that right hand..

Sounds like he'll be doing a lot of switching then...

I don't think I've ever seen a Cotto fight where he didn't switch southpaw.

One of the best fights that Pac did was with southpaws example, David Diaz. Cotto`s switch would be useless.
