not sure i understand what you mean. this has nothing to do with canelo or ggg. take emotion out of it. this is a guy saying he doesnt want to fight a guy again, then years later saying i would fight him. now has ggg looked good or better since the second canelo fight? thats opinion but no he has not. he has looked older and worse. maybe thats just a coincidence to canelo? either way it gives the percepti9no that he's just cherry picking. maybe your filter is broken if you think different? this is why you dont delay fights

This fight could and should have happened only after their second fight.

If Canelo chooses to fight Golovkin (who is about to turn 40, and whose activity level has decreased) he will be criticized whether he wins or loses.

The only upside is for the promoters and fighters who get paid, as most fans will probably still watch the fight, if only because GGG is among a handful of fighters who've either been robbed or on the wrong end of a hometown decision in favour of Canelo.

Golovkin is a natural Middleweight who reportedly doesn't need to undertake extreme weight loss measures to make 160, whereas Canelo seems to be more of a natural 170-175 pounder. Maybe even heavier.

I think fans want to see Canelo fight Benavidez, Charlo, Plant, Munguia and maybe even Beterbiev. (I think Canelo hopping in and out of the 175-pound division upsets the natural order of the fights we want to see).
