Baloney! He quit because he could no longer claim he was undefeated or brag the way he would in every interview. If Floyd lost, the same thing would happen to him, he would retire and blame his brittle hands. I like Hamhead, but this is just bullshiet and I know it.

Exactly, thats what I'm saying. Who'd be ashamed to reveal hand problems? I miss Hamed, he was great for the sport but I don't buy his story. Untill he comes up with something better, I'm gonna stick to MAB retired him.

Did it take Hamed 7 years to come out with this excuse? I think it was because there were to many nice foods he wanted to eat. So he could have beaten Barera if his hands were ok?
Well at least Joe Calzaghe has a good excuse for not fighting froch in 5 years time down the line. His knuckles were hurting and he wanted to do strictly come dancing.

Yes I know, I've seen many cases like that, where the fighter returns once more, then breaks out.

Dude went to jail, gained weight in prison, and finally ate food.

It's lame that they would give him that kind of special treatment before a prize fight, It's one thing if he has a shirt that says "Praise Allah" or that he mentions it in his post fight interview but the fact they give him the floor just to spout that **** off was lame as ****. It was funny though that Lampley kind of made fun of it at the end of Hamed/Barrera and Foreman got pissed saying "You better cool it on that"
