Dirrell Believes His Speed Will Expose Carl Froch

Don't get me wrong, if Dirrell outboxes Froch then I wanna see him pick up a decision, I never wanna see a fighter robbed, but i'm just saying that if the rounds are close then don't be surprised when the home town fighter/world champ wins them.Comment

All talk of this specific fight aside, a terrible decision in any one of these fights could end up ruining the whole tournament.
If Dirrell gets screwed in England or Taylor gets screwed in Germany what's stopping Kessler or Ward from saying "I will not fight there period, look what happened to ________"Comment

likewise if any of the euros get robbed in the states..........dont act like your **** doesnt stink too.All talk of this specific fight aside, a terrible decision in any one of these fights could end up ruining the whole tournament.

For the sake of the credibility of the tourny i hope the refs and judges give all the fighters a fair go.Comment

Yeah I would be surprised if anyone gets robbed in the Super Six as it won't do Showtime any favours in stating the credibility of the Tournament. I don't see any Diaz-Malignaggi style home cooking taking place, I hope we don't even see any judges score cards like the Froch-Pascal 118-110 biased scoring. Can't wait for this fight though, got my tickets and ready for the Super Six to get started

That fat yanks are renowed for bad scoring, bad referreing (Cortez) and robbery.
I don't know why in the US they don't make the American judges wear masks like **** Turpin.Comment

how do you expose froch for being slow, when everyone already knows he's as slow as margarito????In the first round of Showtime's super middleweight tournament, many view the Carl Froch vs. Andre Dirrell clash as the closest fight on paper. Froch defends his WBC title against Dirrell on October 17 in Nottingham. Froch made a big splash in his last fight by coming from behind to stop Jermain Taylor in the twelfth and final round. Dirrell says Froch is a strong fighter and throws a lot of punches but he leaves himself wide open to counters and doesn't have much of a plan in the ring. Dirrell will use his speed to expose those openings. [details]Comment

Your post proves you're a racist idiot. To generalise from one post to all Americans is both racist and idiotic.
And it's nothing to do with British or European fighters in any case, that assumption of yours is also racist. Froch is exciting to watch, but very limited. If you think otherwise, you don't understand boxing. Whether Dirrell can expose him remains to be seen: but if he doesn't, Kessler certainly will.Last edited by Dave Rado; 08-31-2009, 11:03 PM.Comment

I think he's taking Dirrell seriously he just knows he cant compete when it comes to the speed aspect of it. Froch trains to have more stamina, be tougher, stronger and outlast his opponent much more than he trains on any skill I would imagine.thats one thing ive noticed about froch...he seems to not have a gameplan...he just takes things as they come in the ring..i can tell just by watching him fight he probably doesnt watch much film of the fighters hes facing..i dont think hes taking dirrell seriously..but hes going to find out real quickComment
