Now we have Arreola singing praises of Ruiz, just like all PBC programming, they always talk up each other. It's almost like they are all business partners working for the same CEO al haymon. Of all the pbc fighters, not one ever dares to discredit, demean or talk shi7 about any pbc opponent or other fighter. Never. If one beats another pbc fighter, after the fight they begin to build them up. Always. It leads one to suspect every single one of pbcs fights are in house business skits.
the last time i can recall a pbc in house beef was a long time ago when spence was young and he wanted to fight thurman who held a belt at the time. Prior, spence had allegedly beaten up thurman in sparring in vegas, quite decisively. thurman would never fight spence (haymon rarely matches two key assets against each other, so as not to devalue a key asset, he matches key assets vs designated patsies). spence and thurman then went silent on each other and never discussed pbc family squabbles/business ever again (surely direct orders from haymon).
